Eirik Ovrum is a researcher in DNV Research and Innovation, the maritime transport program. He works with modelling of fuel cells, batteries and hybrid ships in the Cossmos group, which aims to model the entire machinery room of modern ships. Eirik has a phd in physics from the University of Oslo where he worked with modelling and numerics in quantum mechanics, which provided a good background for modelling of complex machinery systems.
